Why Do We Study Political Islam?

January 9, 2025

Islam is a complex civilization with its own cultural, religious, political and legal systems. It includes an extensive set of rules, norms and laws regulating the behavior of both individuals and society as a whole. Therefore, it is a serious error in judgment to identify Islam as a religion.

The growing influence of Political Islam on daily life poses a significant threat to the foundations of a non-Islamic society. Violence can be witnessed every day in the streets of non-Islamic cities, as well as the rise of Islamic political demands. This is a threat to national security.

Knowledge of Islamic political doctrine makes it possible to objectively analyze events in any country and find solutions that will protect that country and the people living in it from the influence of this ideology.

Using a scientific approach to analyzing the doctrine and events related to Political Islam, we aim to create effective tools that will be useful to legislators, media representatives, law enforcement agencies, and all specialists whose professional interests are related to the topic of Political Islam.
